The Fun Jewish Quiz Night held August 8th at Revivo's in Hamlet Court Road Westcliff was a fantastic success. We squeezed as many as we could into the space - and it provided for a great atmosphere throughout the evening. There were six rounds of eight questions ranging from cookery to religion - with a break for some great nosh in the middle. It was very very competitive and with each of the five teams named - the team called Fivers - won the prize. The raffle, with prizes from perfume to alcohol donated by the Jnet team, was drawn at the end of the evening. It was such a succcess that another is planned very soon. The JNet Israeli evening recently took place in Southend. It was great fun - and very energetic. As you can see from the photos (thank you Adam) we all had a great time. It was a bit chilly outside in the succah but we all soon warmed up with Israeli dancing being taught by Naomi - and everyone enjoying the falafel and hummus served with pitta bread, Israeli salad and a glass of Pimms. With all the raffle prizes, the energetic atmosphere and all the chatting that went on - it was a great evening with everyone having the opportunity to meet others - and improve their dance steps. A Pharmacutical Night to Remember

Not Just For Single JNetters! Jnet is delighted to introduce pharmacist Lawrence Collin who will be talking about his professional life and all its challenges and humour. It promises to be a wonderfully funny and entertaining evening - and not just for singles. All very welcome. A Superb Chanukah Evening

Starting with the lighting of the outdoor Menorah at the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff on Sea at 7.30pm and followed immediately by a sit down Fish and Chip supper social at the Reform Shul Hall, 851 London Road Westcliff on Sea SSO 9SZ. £10 per head.
